Saturday 24th September 2022 – The Canterbury Venturer – UPDATE
It is with deepest regret that we have had to make the very difficult decision to withdraw this train from our programme.
This decision has not been taken lightly but, unfortunately, Pathfinder Railtours has not received enough bookings to make it viable to run our train on this date. We have done all we can to try to run this excursion, including adding a stop in the London area and also extending the distance the Class 33’s were operating (both of which had been requested by many of our core customers) but neither seem to have resulted in further bookings.
Customers who have booked on this train should receive a letter in the post today and a full refund will be issued by the original method of payment.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this causes and we very much look forward to happier times on the horizon in the coming months.
In the meantime, our planning department are working hard behind the scenes to finalise the programme for the end of the year moving into 2023. Further announcements are to be made shortly about our exciting plans to celebrate our 50th anniversary in the new year!
