It has today been brought to our attention that, despite the best efforts of all parties involved, we are unable to find a suitable path to run this excursion to Weymouth.
Our colleagues at Network Rail have been working very hard to find the best timings for us but, due to the sheer volume of midweek services – including increased freight movements, they have been unsuccessful. The only way we could run would be by terminating at Birmingham New Street at 0055 and then transferring passengers back to Tame Bridge Parkway by road.
On this basis we sadly have no alternative than to withdraw this excursion.
